Chief Business Officer, Large Bio Manufacturing Business Unit

Christian Houborg leads the Large Bio Manufacturing Business Unit for FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. In this role, he leads a cross-functional team focusing on commercial manufacturing at scale and long-term partner relationships. His team oversees the Company’s two sites in Hillerod, Denmark, and Holly Springs, NC, USA, where end-to-end services support large commercial mammalian cell culture programs.  

Christian joined FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in 2018, and he previously served as Senior Vice President and Site Head for the Hillerod, DK manufacturing facility.  

He has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector and holds a Master of Science, Planning and Management from the Technical University of Denmark.
