How can developers place human-relevant, iPSC-based NAMs earlier in the CGT development pathway to identify stronger candidates, expose risks sooner, and reserve animal studies for later. Can we improve speed, confidence, and development cost structures on the path to the clinic?​

Standardized iPSC-derived models can provide a consistent human biological benchmark for candidate selection, potency, function, safety, and manufacturability. Used early and iteratively, these NAMs can drive evidence-based stage gates, reduce investment in weak candidates, and make later animal studies more focused and decision-relevant.​
