While monoclonal antibodies produced in mammalian cells have a common downstream process that allows platform approaches to purification, microbial recombinant proteins are more diverse and offer more challenges hindering a one-size fits all approach. We have demonstrated proof-of-concept for a streamlined and rapid microbial process development platform. ShunzymeX uses scarless protease solutions that allows the production of high-quality proteins without leaving any unwanted residues and simplifies the purification process.
